Abstract
The relationship between architecture and design with new communication, knowledge and Information technologies, is an aspect that has been scarcely studied or very quickly explored. Commentaries on this topic are often centered on the advantages or disadvantages ofthe informatic applications ofcomputer assisted création, or upon the screen display of traditionally created projects. Nevertheless, we are interested in analyzing and proposing a completely different approach that is: how the use of these technologies -which are also knowledge technologies- generates a newform ofthinking and conceiving architecture and designfrom the new aesthetic qualities they inaugúrate.
