Abstract
The following study is an esthetic and philosophical analysis of the form and the meaning which the spaces takes in the movies of Luis Buñuel. The author, who defines what is Sinister starting whit its meaning in the romantic esthetics and the freudian psychoanalysis, offers the concept of the sinister spatiality in order to elaborate a sui generis doctrine of the dramatic space, whose disctintive quality consists in presenting itself at the same time, as an ontophanic ambitus (reveiling the being) and as a crisis locus of what seems to be.
