Abstract
This essay focuses on the connections between the different fields of music and painting. in turn, it proposes some general keys to historical relationships and periodical dialogues; subsequently, it approaches a possible convergence between music and painting, presenting a certain hybridization and transtextuality as an inherent part of any contemporary artistic manifestation.
