This cornunicacián indicates the effect on the coastal zone of the impact of an eventual rise in sea level. induced by the greenhouse effect. between Papudo and Rocas de Santo Domingo (320 30' S-330 37' S). Potentially flooded areas are quantified, showing a different degree of sensitivity depending on the geomorphological type of coastline. The impact on the anthropized environment is analyzed considering its effect on the infrastructure and also refers to the indirect effect it may have on tourism and artisanal fishing.
