About the Journal

RCP is a triannual publication of the Instituto de Ciencia Política of the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. RCP's editorial policies obey broad and pluralistic criteria, both in terms of areas of specialization and methodologies used. Since its foundation in 1979, RCP has published articles in the main areas of political science. All published articles have been peer-reviewed. RCP is indexed, among others, in Social Sciences Citation Index (Web of Science), Scopus and Scientific Electronic Library Online (Scielo-Chile).

Objectives and scope

RCP publishes manuscripts that contribute substantively to the development of political science in its different areas. All published articles have been submitted to double-blind peer review. RCP receives manuscripts in the different areas of political science: political theory, comparative politics, international relations, research methodology and public policy. Papers published in RCP are free of charge. Likewise, the submission and publication of manuscripts does not involve any monetary cost to the authors
